Renovation and alteration of a tired West End, B-listed apartment creating a home that is deeply conserved and quietly contemporary.
Arranged in a layout that lacked cohesion, we worked with our Client to reimagine the floorpan to improve flow, light and everyday functionality, creating calm, adaptable spaces while maintaining a strong connection to the building’s heritage. Upon entering the apartment the primary intervention involving the formation of the social heart of the home draws one to the rear of the apartment. Combining several rooms, the airy open plan sitting, dining and kitchen space is lit and connected to the garden by new French doors. The Client’s personal art collection brings warmth to each space resulting in a calm, modern home suited to their individuality.
A reconfigured home with flow, light and proportion guiding every decision.
